Dual Sided Green Roof & Drainage Mat
PlanterCell® 50 is a patented dual-sided modular green roof and drainage mat designed for sustainable rooftop landscaping, stormwater management and sub-soil drainage applications. Engineered with a flexible configuration, the system adapts to uneven surfaces and curved decks while supporting planting systems, water retention and light foot traffic.

Its innovative dual-sided design allows the system to function as both a green roof support layer and a drainage platform, providing efficient water flow management while retaining approximately 17.4L/m² of water to support healthier plant growth and reduce irrigation demand. The integrated water retention and drainage performance helps minimise water stagnation while promoting controlled runoff during heavy rainfall events.

Unlike rigid conventional drainage systems, PlanterCell® 50 conforms more effectively to irregular rooftop surfaces, making it especially suitable for rooftops, podium decks and lightweight landscaped structures where uneven substrates are common. The modular system also contributes to Urban Heat Island (UHI) mitigation by supporting rooftop greenery that improves thermal comfort and enhances biodiversity within dense urban environments.
