PlanterCell® K Series (K60, K80, K100) is a lightweight modular water retention tray system engineered for extensive green roofs, rooftop landscaping and sustainable stormwater management applications. Designed with integrated overflow discharge and interlocking configurations, the K Series helps regulate water distribution while supporting healthier plant growth and long-term rooftop greenery performance.

Developed for rooftops with limited load capacity, the system retains and supplies water efficiently to planting media while preventing oversaturation through controlled overflow management. This balance between water retention and drainage helps reduce irrigation demand, improve stormwater detention and support healthier root environments for extensive green roof systems.

The K Series is especially suitable for retrofit projects and lightweight roof structures where traditional heavy green roof systems may not be feasible. Its modular and lightweight design enables easier handling, faster installation and efficient integration into both new-build and refurbishment projects.

Available in different heights (K60, K80 and K100), the system allows designers and architects to select varying water storage capacities and planting support requirements depending on project needs. The trays are also suitable for off-site pre-grown planting systems, improving installation efficiency and vegetation consistency on-site.
